how can this be, is it the paintbrush attacking me

or do I hold the power to tenderly

let go of all the millions of things going on around me

for a week can only bring ’so’ many challanges.

only so many phonecalls can be made, only so many e-mails sent and received.

…..taking time to smell the roses….take a breath; shake the head; give a smile

Now that I found you – I won’t let you go

even though you don’t need me, no, no

You are someone I just can’t forget

You talk, I listen even stare – I can’t help it

how do you dare

is this just another sad song………I’ll play the fool.

You speak to my mind, my soul and even more

you’ve opened a new door and poses the key

to see me

I’ve seen visions of you – honey, I can’t take the blame

you pass on the temptation – dancing the night

I caress you in my mind.

Today I no longer feel the same

You killed the flame

so brazenly I’ld like to

hit you, bite you, scratch you

yet never leave a mark on you.

But I know I have…..

left that mark – possibly even only a question mark!

And I shall wipe my ming clean – after all I am an Aquarian

with the great gift to simply move on; many self discussions later.

The roses will flower and each time it shall you remind you

of territory unsailed.
